Jon began his career while still a digital arts student at Bowling Green University. There, his interactive creation and design work won several award and honors. In 2002, Jon interned in the new media department at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. where he helped design the concept and layout of the award-winning Campfire Stories with George Catlin educational Web site.
In 2003, Jon signed on as a web specialist with the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology in Bowling Green, Ohio. In this position he instructed faculty on how to leverage interactive technology to improve classroom experience. In 2004, a job opportunity in North Carolina had Jon leading the web and video design process for clients such as Wrangler, Georgia Pacific and Russell Athletic.
Jon relocated to Indianapolis to join TrendyMinds in 2005. He began as a web designer, was later promoted to Interactive Director in 2007, and was named Vice President, Digital & Interactive in 2011. Jon leads projects for clients such as Indiana University Health, Kevin Harvick Racing and other enterprise clients. He manages all aspects of interactive services including video production, content strategy and web design and development.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys volunteering his creative talent for local organizations such as F.I.D.O. (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside)... and making the rest of TrendyMinds feel hopelessly un-hip by discovering amazing bands we've never heard of.
I'd rent out the United Center in Chicago during the day and play some pick up games on the main court with my friends. At night I'd have a huge show at the Metro with all my favorites bands. I'd invite all my friends and family for free food and drinks.
I enjoy the variety of different types of clients we get to work with. I also enjoy getting to work on both websites and video projects.
I keep all of the movie stubs and concert tickets from shows I've attended over the past +10 years in a box by my desk.
I'd take my computer because it contains all of my photos, videos, and old work. That's really all I would need. Everything else can be replaced.
My super power would be the ability to fly. It would make it easier, cheaper, and safer to travel.

I'd like to become fluent in another language.
I enjoy listening to ambient music, or going for walks/biking to find peace and quiet.

Even though I don't snowboard any more, I think it would be cool to win a medal for the half pipe.
