Stock photography is awesome! For the price of a mere dollar you can have a professional photo for your website without even leaving your desk! A website full of these images looks pretty sharp, but does it really look like you? Will users be disappointed when they arrive at your business and feel differently than they did when visiting your site? Will they lose trust in you because you "lied?"

If our interactive clients don't already have professional photos or don't have the budget for them, I often take our camera to their location to get some shots of my own. If that isn't possible (maybe they are located too far away or haven't opened yet), I choose images that have the same look and feel as they do so that the feeling will be the same on the website as at the location.

One of the best things about the creation of websites is that you can see so much more than just a name, address and phone number as offered in the phone book. I can't even imagine how difficult it was before the internet to choose a doctor, hair stylist, restaurant or really anything at all! When is the last time you visited a business or event and noticed the in person experience was nothing like what was shown on the website?

It's important to post photos of your business - even if only one. Make sure your clients and/or customers can get a feel of how fabulous you are!

I like the way you post this article entitled “Honesty is the Best Policy”. I agree that it is more important to post photos of your business even if only one. You have already made them feel they were there inside your company or business firm or store.
