We're looking for the next addition to our talented team!

The front end coder will be responsible for coding our client’s websites and other interactive projects as necessary. Approximately 90% of the job is coding, with 10% being providing web design feedback from a coding perspective. (In other words, this is NOT a design position, so please do not apply if this is what you’re looking for.)

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with other interactive and design team members to create fresh, clean and user-friendly websites and interactive projects
• Providing design direction from a coding perspective based on knowledge of current web coding standards and new technologies
• Shaping initial wireframes based on client and user needs
• Coding sites

Our perfect candidate must have the following non-negotiable qualifications:

• Posses a four-year degree in a related field
• Have 3-5 years of design and coding experience in an agency setting with a strong, impressive portfolio showing a broad variety of work
• Fluent in XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, PHP and JQuery (CSS3 and HTML5 a plus)
• Ability to produce standards-compliant HTML/CSS templates from Photoshop mockups
• Expertise in achieving cross-browser compatibility in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari
• Expertise in grid-based layout design and its implementation in HTML/CSS
• Experience with CMS tools and e-commerce software
• Be detail-oriented, organized and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Be able to incorporate feedback from clients and coworkers
• Up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends/standards
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Have a great sense of humor and strong interpersonal skills
• Be able to work productively and efficiently in a casual, laid-back office culture
• Be a self-starter
