Coinciding with plans to build a new company headquarters, TrendyMinds has announced a commitment to create up to 20 high-wage jobs by 2014. This news comes on the heels of the company’s recent purchase of an 8,300 square-foot facility at 531 E. Market. Currently under renovation, the facility is expected to open its doors early next year.
"The expansion of existing businesses here in Indianapolis is vital to the economic success of our city," said Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. "We are pleased to have been a part of this project and congratulate TrendyMinds on this new chapter of their growing company."
The City of Indianapolis offered additional property tax abatement at the request of Develop Indy based on TrendyMinds’ job creation plans. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation also offered TrendyMinds up to $240,00 in conditional tax credits. Both incentives are performance-based, which means TrendyMinds cannot claim incentives until employees are hired.
"We feel very fortunate to be able to grow our company in Indiana," said Trevor Yager, president and CEO of TrendyMinds. "This expansion will help us to meet our growing needs and continue to recruit top talent and forge stronger relationships with our clients."
